I saw two different NZSL signs for ADOPTION.

One sign looks similar to the sign for RAPE.

The other sign looks like someone is being taken away forcefully, as if saying, “You must come with me!”

These signs may give people different feelings or meanings. That is why the sign for ADOPTION can be a sensitive topic. I would like to understand the meaning behind each sign and how people feel about them.
